Lab Pack Chemist – Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Work with customers to ensure their individual needs are met.
- Review chemical waste inventories, prepare pricing schedules for submission to Sales for proposal preparation.
- Upon award/scheduling of work, determine and load supplies necessary to complete the proposed work.
- Work with ENI’s technical staff to prepare required documentation prior to site mobilization.
- On site, physically segregate and package waste in accordance with regulatory requirements (RCRA, DOT, etc).
- Perform field characterization testing, as necessary, to determine hazard classification and waste packaging needs.
- Modify prepared paperwork onsite, if necessary, to reflect actual waste classifications and quantities.
- Preferably, possess a CDL to transport waste off-site to ENI’s base of operations.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literate
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to pass ERG’s pre-employment drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
- Leadership experience and ability to supervise Lab Pack Technicians
- Experience performing work pursuant to RCRA, DOT & OSHA regulations
- Computer literate in Microsoft and CRM software programs
- Ability / willingness to travel two (2) to four (4) times per month, with possible overnights required
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER training
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Compensation
ENI offers an extremely competitive salary, paid time off and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance and a retirement savings plan with an employer-match. Employees in this position can expect to make $18 to $30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
